Went out in the Adirondack mountains backpacking and this sleeping bag kept me nice and warm all night long. It's lightweight and very compact. I would definitely recommend it.

Alaska backcountry hiker here: this sleeping bag packs down small and kept me warm through three days of constant rain while camping in Katmai National park on my initial trip out with it. No complaints at all! I got the mens size so I would have ample room to scoot down into it and cover myself and still has room for my clothes at the bottom of the bag. 10/10 would buy again!

I love this sleeping bag. It compacts so nicely, but fluffs up once you take it out. I've only used it once, and it was low 50s in the Rockies, but I was in shorts and a tshirt and was very warm. I even kept it unzipped partly to be cooler. But yeah, it's really comfy, and I can't wait to use it in colder weather!......plus the mint/tangerine colors are so cool and vibrant

Love the pack weight. I've used it twice so far and It's a bit cool in the mid 30's overnight. Put my hoodie on and I was comfy.

This is the fourth Eolus sleeping bag I’ve purchased in the past few years for myself and family members. The latest purchase is the 30 degree bag I got for myself for summer temps (the others were the 30 degree bags). I recently finished a multi-day bike pack with the 30 degree Eolus and was pleased with the performance. I used this in conjunction with a lightweight liner and stayed cool in high humidity temps in the 60s. If you’re looking for a highly compressible, lightweight bag for the summer, you can’t beat the quality and comfort of this bag.

Great sleeping bag! just did a 4 day backpacking trip in Sierras in july and the 30 degree kepts me at the perfect temperature.

I previously had the Shavano 32˚F bag and loved it but decided to upgrade. I got the Eolus 30˚F short bag because I'm 5'3 and it works great. Used it through my trip in Iceland and it did just the trick to keep me warm with the extra enclosures and hood. I was nervous about the Clay being too aggressive of an orange... But the clay and purple compliment each other really well! I am a satisfied customer.

There's and old saying, you get what you paid for! Well not in this case, the quality of the hyke and byke Eolus 0 degree far exceeded the price tag. I just came back from a 1 week backpacking trip in the Trinity Alps and although the Temps never got below 37 degrees F I must say I slept the warmest I ever have in Temps ranging around the mid to high thirtys with only a T shirt and shorts I slept toasty for 6 straight nights, this undoubtedly is the begging of a beautiful friendship, combine that with the fact it's crazy light compressible and super affordable it's a total win win you can't go wrong, I will Most definitely recommend this to friends and family. I used the sleeping bag on a recent bike trip and found it did not keep me warm in temps 40 degrees or less and I was wearing tights and a hooded fleece top. I might return it.

Just came back from a bikepacking trip with my new sleeping bag, which I bought because it seemed great value for money (and because of the color scheme!). Truly an excellent piece of kit, packed down super small so it lived in the bottom of my pannier and was the right amount of warm for a rainy 40º night and not too hot for a 60º bright morning. So glad I came across this company! Highly recommend

Very warm, light, and compact. Best sleeping bag I've owned.

After thinking about mixed reviews of the style of hammock sleeping bag I decided to pull the trigger and purchase an Antero 0°F. 0°F is the survival rating, and the lower comfort rating for men is 15°F. I generally sleep somewhat cold for a guy and am 5'10" and 170lb. I purchased the long version so that it would be wider and longer which allowed me to get a comfortable diagonal lay but not quite a perfect one. For this reason, I would think long about buying one for sole use with a hammock on an extended trip/thru hike. I waited to test this out when the forecast would be pretty cold. I went camping for one night and it got down to 18°F with sustained winds at 12mph or above and gusts up to 32mph (there was a wind advisory too). I used a tarp tented above my hammock as most hammock campers will, but I don't think that had any affect on the wind. For reference, I slept in midweight merino base layer bottoms, thin thermal shirt with midweight fleece zip-up, wool socks, and medium beanie. Let me tell you I was cozy and warm! Now I don't normally get too excited about anything, but after seeing mixed reviews, some very good (which made me wonder if they were true) and some bad speculations on this product I am definitely impressed! I have only used this for one night, so I can't speak to durability yet, but it performed very well in what I would say are not ideal conditions. I'm a colder sleeper mind you and 18° is all but there for the lower comfort limit for men and I was basically as warm as I'd want to be and did not feel the wind even the slightest while my tarp was just a whipping in the wind and my hammock was rocking. Overall I'd say I'm happy with my purchase and can't wait to use it again! This bag is 800FP goose down with some synthetic loft base, but I would still say it met the requirements in testing. At just over $200 I found this very affordable for a down sleeping bag of that temp rating and unique design. It's very packable too. looking to use it a lot more than my initial test!

My new sleeping bag is hiding in my backpack currently. It trained with me on Saturday on a 10 mile hike. LOVED how easily it was to stuff into the compression bag, after I googled how to get it in there. LOL. I love the size, I love the weight, and next month I'll tell you how I love that it kept me warm on a April hike.

GOT ANOTHER ONE Two years ago I bought the Quandary 15F at the recommendation of a friend and love it. Used it when backpacking at Cumberland Falls in Kentucky . Excellent quality and kept me very warm, almost to warm. Wanted another sleeping bag, so came back to Hyke & Byke because of the quality and bought the Eulos 30F and will give the Quandary 15F to family member who sleeps a bit colder than me. Haven't tested it yet but I'm confident it will perform well as the Quandary has these past two years.

Great Bag! I bought one of these for my son, but I borrowed it before he could use it and I liked it so much, I ordered one for myself. The first time I used it, I got down to 31degrees inside my tent and I slept warm with no issues. The other bag came and I used that one. It only got to 46 degrees that night. I had to open the bag at points as I was getting too warm. I was worried the zipper would snag the fabric when I used it half asleep in the middle of the night, but I had. I issues. It packs well and gains its loft very quickly when unpacked

It could very well be a three season bag in many parts of the world. The bags are well made, with excellent stitching and zippers. My size twelve feet had plenty of space, as did my solid six foot frame. As spacious as it is, this down-filled beauty collapsed into a compact, light weight little cylinder. A minute to shake and fluff the bag and it kept us comfortable throughout late summer nights in the mountains. As with any bag, a silk inner sleeve or sleeping clothes are recommended to help ensure a long life. A great bag at a great price. So far, so good. I recommend this bag .

Awesome! Took this out on a 3 day backpacking trip. Camped around 9000ft, nice breeze all night long. Bag was comfortable, its lightweight, and compresses down nicely to save room. It is a little noisy, but in 45 degree night time sleeping, it was very comfortable!
