For the price paid, I’m generally satisfied with this sleeping bag. I was initially disappointed to find the entire length of the zipper to have loose threads all the way down. It definitely makes me question the construction and durability of the product. I was also excited for the built in cell phone pocket, but the pocket size is too tight to fit my iPhone X (an older, smaller model) with a case on. If I take the case off, the pocket is not long enough to use the Velcro closure. Either way, the bag seems warm and I’m pleased it comes with a lifetime warranty.

I'm in my 60s now and have seen my share of sleeping bags over the years. I've got both down and synthetic. My 40 year old down bag still works but is not ideal for camping at the coast. My ZERO degree synthetic bag is great but too bulky to take motorcycle camping. This bag is a compromise and a gorgeous one at that. No trips as of yet as I'm healing up from a skiing accident but I have bicycle and motorcycle tours in mind for the summer.

If you have broader shoulders, get the "Tall" size for your bag. More room is better during the night for sure. I have the Reg size and last years elk hunt just seemed too tight for me, but i'm a bigger/athletic framed guy so this year went with the Tall size and what a major improvement on comfort.

My son Joshua, is a boyscout in troop 45 out of lakeside California. This particulars troop does 8-10 camp outs a year, with a few of them being high adventure. As someone who is allergic to down, I thought I found the perfect LIGHTWEIGHT solution to the typical heavy synthetic bag. The materials used are quality and lightweight, however, there is one main flaw! The sleeping bag is not quilted, so the synthetic fill shifts as you sleep and bunches up. This causes there to be spots where there is no fill and only a thin nylon layer (which is not idea of colder temps).

My high school age daughter took this on a weeklong backcountry camping trip in mid-June in the High Peak Wilderness of Adirondack Park. She was so pleased with it. Not only is the warmth rating accurate, but it takes up very little room in the backpack, is so easy to stuff, and has thoughtful details. The green color is lovely too. I took this back on a 4 day, 45 mile backpacking trip through Buckskin Gulch and Paria Canyon in early March. I slept under a tarp in 30 degree weather, including one night when it was raining and the wind was blowing hard. This sleeping bag kept me warm, dry, and comfortable every night. This is the best sleeping bag I have owned. I am a 50 year old, 5 foot 7 inch, 135 lb female who sleeps cold. I also flop around like a fish all night. I had plenty of room for turning in my sleep, and the heat baffles around the neck and along the zipper did a great job of sealing in the warmth. Note that this bag will compress down to almost nothing underneath you, so you need to have an insulated air mattress and/or foam pad underneath you to insulate you from the ground. I used both and was super comfortable.

Almost perfect I get cold easily and I camp into the beginning of Fall. I love this bag bc if on the rare occasion I'm hot I just unzip the bag. My one draw back is that its slippery and I slide off my sleeping pad. Wish it had a pad sleeve.
